Ramping up

Today is the first day for me in the team. Lots of things to learn. Lots of new people to meet and talk. As I expected before, this will be a challenging job. I hope this also means a good opportunity to learn and grow with it. I have some thoughts after meeting with some teams, but it definitely will take some time to implement it. There were questions on whether there will be more reorg or not. I don't know, the answer is maybe, and not under my control. I hope it will just become better regardless of what change it will be.

Move on

After having been in the current org for almost 7 years, today is the last day for me to work in the current team. I will move to another org in the same company next week.

I'm so grateful to have know many great friends here, and very touched to see so many of them came to the farewell party (more than 40!) There were three cards full of warm wishes from the teams. I can't say enough thank you to all of them.

There were someone asked me to keep the smiling face in the new org. I definitely will. There were one teammate asked me how to stay happy at work, what I have in mind is:

The world is never perfect, so we need to set a right expectation, and work towards a better world by contributing to it. Think positively. Stay grateful.

The first two months of this year is very challenging for many people in the world, especially those in China. How I wish a better Spring will come soon.
