google items

I just uploaded one video which I took at last night's dinner to Google PicasaWeb. The quality is much much better than those shared on some other sites such as, e.g., YouTube. The reason is that YouTube converted your video to flash format, which lowers the quality due to the compression, while PicasaWeb simply stores your video in the original format (I think avi/mpeg should be fine, haven't checked for others. should be on the help page now). One thing to keep in mind is about the file size. As a free account owner you will have 250M limit space. (But you can apply multiple free accounts.)
